Probably the best show I ever had with Eternal. I remember it was a chaotic day. E-man couldn’t be found anywhere and we were under presure to play. Out of no where, shows up E with a back pack full of spray paint and a journal filled with lyrics and art. We wondered what happened cause he looked worn out and tired. His reply later was “I beat someone down” and was arrested overnight. Haha! classic hardcore lifestyle. Anyway, we were already starting the first song and E was in the crown moshing and singing, “Selfish one”. The whole place went nuts. Everyone was stage diving from the speakers and stage like back in the Safari club days. This memory of tearing the Black Cat apart takes me back to that special place in time, Hard core was really alive and filled with incredible charisma. I guess this was the last of the best hard core days and then it all faded out into the wind. Anyway, I still have Eternal material that was never released and hope to make a tribute page soon. Oh yes, I still have “the scar remains for ever”, T-shirt. Awesome times I wish I could get the band back together for a East coast tour.
