Husker Du’s 1st gig in Vancouver. The show (in support of Vancouver’s criminally underrated INSEX) was Husker’s 1st (of 3? 2 confirmed by my own attendance) at legendary Vancouver punk club The Smilin Buddha Caberet.
Husker Du’s next foray into Vancouver maybe 6-9 months after this gig was a shared bill with peak level live era Personality Crisis! Another scorcher of a gig. Attendance the second time around was exponentially larger…probably 200-250 crammed into the 125 capacity Buddha!
